Mister Universe Trans USA
The International Competition
Miss Universe Queen and Mister Universe Trans offer a structured, advocacy-driven competition designed to highlight leadership, community service, and universal beauty. Contestants participate across multiple categories, including an advocacy project, personal interviews, evening wear, and more—each evaluating authenticity, poise, and social impact rather than appearance alone.
Several titles are awarded to ensure inclusivity across ages, backgrounds, and experience levels, providing opportunities for both emerging and established leaders in the transgender and gender-diverse communities. Every division is designed to celebrate individuality while promoting a commitment to service, advocacy, and empowerment.
By participating, contestants gain not only the opportunity to compete on a global stage, but also mentorship, networking, and a platform to advocate for causes that matter most to their communities.

Categories of Competition for 2025
Introduction Video
Contestants create a short video to introduce themselves to judges and the audience. This is your opportunity to share your personal story, background, and aspirations, highlighting your unique perspective, authenticity, and commitment to advocacy. The video allows viewers to connect with you beyond the stage and understand what motivates your leadership and community work.
Promotion of Title and Pageant
This category evaluates a contestant’s ability to represent the pageant and its mission publicly. Contestants demonstrate how they can raise awareness for the pageant’s and their own advocacy work. Judges look for creativity, communication skills, and the potential to positively influence and inspire others while embodying the values of the title.
Advocacy Project
In addition to supporting the Queen Universe Trust, contestants showcase a project or initiative they are passionate about, focusing on social impact and community benefit. This could be an ongoing campaign, a volunteer initiative, or a creative solution to an issue affecting marginalized communities. Judges assess leadership, innovation, clarity of purpose, and measurable impact, as well as the contestant’s dedication to making a tangible difference in the lives of others.
Interview
In a personal interview with the judges, contestants are evaluated on their ability to articulate their goals, experiences, and values. This category emphasizes authenticity, communication skills, critical thinking, and the capacity to represent the pageant thoughtfully and respectfully. It provides a deeper understanding of a contestant’s character, leadership potential, and commitment to advocacy.
Evening Wear
This traditional pageant segment allows contestants to present themselves onstage with poise, confidence, and elegance. Evening wear is not judged solely on fashion; it reflects how contestants carry themselves, express individuality, and embody universal beauty. Judges look for confidence, stage presence, and the ability to engage the audience with grace and authenticity.
Onstage Q&A
This category tests quick thinking, composure, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly under pressure. The focus is on the contestant’s ability to express their values and vision in a concise, impactful response.
Overall Behavior
This category considers how contestants conduct themselves throughout the competition, both on and offstage. Judges evaluate professionalism, integrity, respect for others, and consistent adherence to the pageant’s core values. Positive interactions with peers, staff, and the community demonstrate leadership, empathy, and the character expected of a titleholder.
